Image of the UU church used by Harvard's Divinity School when Emerson was a student, a hub of social and political daily life.  Buried into the surface are the words of Emerson's Nature essay urging a return to the natural world, which have been removed, leaving negative space and breaking apart the image.

This recessed lettering process was used again in Homs Sweet Homs
